KASPRE Consulting is a Saskatchewan-based, Indigenous-owned consulting firm that helps organizations navigate complex challenges, strengthen how they work, and move important priorities forward.

As KASPRE continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team on a part-time contract basis. Hours available are anticipated to be between 15-20 hours per week on average. Some weeks may require more or less hours to meet client demand.
The Senior Consultant is an experienced consulting professional who can take ownership of client relationships, lead consulting engagements, provide thoughtful advice, and consistently deliver high-quality work.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys solving complex organizational challenges, working directly with senior decision-makers, facilitating important conversations, and helping clients move from uncertainty to practical action.
As a Senior Consultant, you will independently manage consulting projects from initiation through completion while collaborating with KASPRE’s Principal Consultants, Partners, Consultants, and specialist team members as required.
You may lead strategic planning processes, governance reviews, policy or regulatory projects, organizational assessments, engagement processes, workshops, research initiatives, business planning, or other advisory assignments across KASPRE’s service areas.
You will also play an important role within KASPRE by having the opportunity to mentor Consultants, contribute to business development, strengthen client relationships, and help us continually improve how we deliver our work.

Your role will involve both leadership of projects and delivery. Senior Consultants are expected to remain actively involved in the substance of the work rather than simply overseeing project administration.

You are confident facilitating discussions with senior leaders and are able to navigate differing perspectives, competing priorities, and sensitive issues diplomatically.
You write exceptionally well and can translate complex information into clear, practical, and defensible advice.
You are equally comfortable leading projects and supporting colleagues. You share your expertise, provide constructive feedback, and understand that developing other people strengthens the entire firm.

A master’s degree or relevant professional designation is considered an asset but is not required.
We are generally seeking candidates with approximately seven to fifteen years of progressively responsible professional experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education, consulting experience, leadership experience, and demonstrated expertise.
Previous consulting experience is highly desirable, but it is not the only pathway into this role.
We also welcome experienced professionals who have held progressively responsible positions within government, Indigenous organizations, Crown corporations, municipalities, healthcare, post-secondary institutions, non-profit organizations, industry, or other complex environments and are interested in applying their expertise in a consulting setting.
Ideal candidates will bring demonstrated experience leading projects in one or more of KASPRE’s areas of work, including:
Experience working directly with executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, Chiefs and Councils, Deputy Ministers, Assistant Deputy Ministers, Chief Executive Officers, Executive Directors, or other senior organizational leaders is strongly preferred and is a core expectation of the Senior Consultant level.
Successful candidates should demonstrate advanced capability in:
Experience using ClickUp to manage projects, monitor workloads, assign tasks, and collaborate across teams is considered an asset.
Experience using Thinkific or contributing to professional learning and training initiatives is also an asset, reflecting KASPRE’s growing Learning practice.

As a Senior Consultant, you will often serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client engagements.
Clients will rely on you to lead meetings, facilitate strategic discussions, manage stakeholder relationships, identify emerging issues, and produce work that can be confidently presented to executive leadership and governing bodies.
You are expected to represent KASPRE with professionalism, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
While you will collaborate with Principal Consultants and Partners on complex or high-profile engagements, you should be capable of independently leading most consulting projects from initiation through completion.

This is a part-time contract position with flexible hours and project-based assignments.
The position may be completed remotely or on a hybrid-remote basis, with access to KASPRE’s shared office space at Path CoWork in Regina, Saskatchewan, depending on your location and preference.
The amount of work may fluctuate based on project requirements.
Senior Consultants should have sufficient availability to lead client engagements reliably, participate in daytime client meetings, and manage project commitments through to completion.
Some assignments may require occasional travel within Saskatchewan or elsewhere in Canada. Travel is fully compensated at agreed-upon rates within the consulting contract.
