Indigenous Engagement Consultant (Part-Time Contract)

Location: Remote or Hybrid Remote with access to Path CoWork, Regina, SK
Company: KASPRE Consulting Inc.
Application Deadline: November 7, 2025

KASPRE Consulting is a Saskatchewan-based management consulting firm specializing in strategy, policy, engagement, and performance. We partner with governments, Indigenous organizations, and public-sector entities across Canada to co-create thoughtful, evidence-based, and culturally grounded solutions. Our work is guided by our Walking Together commitments to reconciliation, a promise to build relationships founded on respect, reciprocity, and shared learning. We believe reconciliation must be lived every day through the way we work: by listening deeply, building trust, and ensuring Indigenous voices inform every stage of our projects.

KASPRE Consulting is seeking an Indigenous Engagement Consultant to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This role will support all Indigenous engagement activities across our portfolio, helping ensure that our approaches are culturally informed and carried out in a good way. The successful candidate will bring both professional expertise and lived experience to help design and deliver respectful, meaningful, and effective engagement processes with Indigenous communities, governments, and organizations.

Key responsibilities include developing and advising on Indigenous engagement and consultation plans that reflect community priorities and appropriate protocols; drafting interview and discussion guides that support inclusive and respectful dialogue; providing guidance on ceremony, cultural protocol, and community approaches to ensure engagement is conducted in a good way; reviewing project deliverables and communications to ensure alignment with KASPRE’s Walking Together commitments; and supporting internal learning and capacity-building by sharing knowledge on Indigenous governance, engagement practices, and relationship-building.

We welcome applications from Indigenous professionals with a range of experiences and perspectives. While formal education is not required, the ideal candidate will bring experience in community engagement, consultation, facilitation, or policy work involving Indigenous communities or organizations; a strong understanding of Indigenous governance systems, protocols, and engagement practices; excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort working collaboratively with diverse project teams and clients; and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a flexible, remote environment.

This is a part-time contract position with flexible hours and project-based assignments. The role may be remote or hybrid-remote, with access to KASPRE’s shared office space at Path CoWork in Regina, Saskatchewan. We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive working environment that honours lived experience and cultural knowledge alongside professional expertise.

Interested candidates are invited to submit a short cover letter and résumé outlining their experience and interest in the role to info@kaspreconsulting.ca. Please include “Indigenous Engagement Consultant” in the subject line. Applications will be accepted until November 7, 2025.

At KASPRE Consulting, reconciliation is more than a value—it is our way of working. We are committed to walking together with Indigenous partners, clients, and communities to build respectful relationships and lasting impact.
