Administrative Support Consultant (Independent Contractor)

Role Summary

The Administrative Support Consultant provides reliable, detail-oriented administrative and coordination support to enable KASPRE’s consulting team to operate efficiently. This role requires strong judgment, the ability to work independently, and comfort interacting with senior-level clients and stakeholders.

This is an independent contractor role with no guaranteed hours or set schedule. Work is assigned based on business needs and contractor availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate client, stakeholder, and internal meetings, including liaising directly with external contacts.
  • Draft contracts, amendments, and related documents using established templates.
  • Prepare, issue, and track invoices; monitor payment timelines and flag upcoming or overdue invoices.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records related to contracts, invoicing, and scheduling.
  • Copy edit professional documents for clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Support basic task tracking and workflow coordination using ClickUp including the use of CRM to track client interactions.  
  • Manage correspondence related to scheduling, invoicing, and administrative follow-ups.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support logistics for onsite workshops or engagement facilitations such as IT set up, material distribution to participants, and coordination of refreshments and catering set up.  
  • Provide general administrative support as required in a professional services consulting environment.

  • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, SharePoint)
  • ClickUp

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative or executive support experience.
  • Formal education in business administration, office administration, or related field is an asset but not required.
  • Experience supporting professional services, consulting, legal, or public-sector environments is an asset.
  • Strong written communication and copy-editing skills.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable communicating
  • Professionally with clients and senior stakeholders.
